Little Black Ripple

This piece of work has been created using waste plastic, which has been cleaned, processed, dyed, hand cut and hand sewn onto a canvas backing. The wooden frame has been painted the same colour as the background creating a ‘colour drenched’ effect.

The Ripple pieces are inspired by the movement of water in a swimming pool when the precise grid of geometric tiles is interrupted by motion, either by people in the pool or by weather conditions such as wind and rain.
